Sebatigita Ephrem started the Munkaze washing station in 2012 after 29 years in Burundi’s coffee market. He has further speed up the tradition based on Ntirandekura, which began in the 40's to promote coffee from Kayanza area. Ntirandekura was Sebatigitas grandfather and he claimed to be one of the first coffee farmers in the region.
